Site survey and final design
Week 1Our engineer visits to check your roof space, shading and electrical board, then confirms the final layout and system size. You'll know exactly what's going on your roof before anything is submitted.

Developer NOC and DEWA approval
Weeks 1–4We prepare and submit everything: the No Objection Certificate for your community or master developer, and your Shams Dubai application and design approval with DEWA. We follow up with both until you're approved.

Installation day
1 dayOur certified team mounts your panels, installs the inverter and wiring, and tests the full system, all in a single day. Your power may be switched off for around an hour while we connect everything, and we leave your property clean and tidy.

DEWA inspection and switch-on
Savings startWe book and attend DEWA's inspection. Once it's approved, DEWA fits your two-way smart meter, we commission the system, and you start generating your own power. Your first payment only starts once installation is complete.

Our certified team arrives at a time agreed with you and takes care of everything in a single day. You're welcome to be home, but you don't need to be.

How long do the developer and DEWA approvals take?
It depends on your community and DEWA's workload, but approvals usually take a few weeks. We submit everything and follow up for you, which is why the whole process can take as little as 6 weeks from your free quote to switch-on.
What if my developer or DEWA asks for changes?
It happens occasionally. We update the design or paperwork and resubmit it for you, and we'll keep you posted on anything that affects your system or timeline.
Do I need to be home on installation day?
No. As long as our team can access the property and roof, you don't need to be there. If you'd like to be home, we're always happy to walk you through the system at the end of the day.
Will my power be switched off?
Only briefly. Your power may be off for around an hour while we connect the inverter to your electrical board. We'll let you know when to expect it.
When do I start paying?
Nothing is payable until your installation is complete. With AED 0 upfront and 0% finance through our Bill Match program, your repayments are designed to sit in line with what you already spend on electricity.
Can I add a battery later?
In most cases, yes. Let us know during your consultation if you might want a battery in future, and we'll design your system so it's easy to add one later.
I rent my villa. Can I still go solar?
Yes, with your landlord's written approval, as the owner's consent is needed for the developer and DEWA applications. We're happy to explain how it works to you and your landlord.
